TTM & Growth Calculator

When we do analysis of a stock we often need to understand the fundamentals for trailing twelve months, but filings do not provide them. We can get this data from providers, but I prefer to stick to official information.

This is the simple way to get the info using two filings: 10-K and 10-Q:

TTM = last annual (10-K) + current YTD (10-Q) – prior-year YTD (same 10-Q)

This cancels seasonality and gives you a “right now” base.
